Welcome to the Junior Edition of the Gulmohar Debating Championship '24, by Headstart Gulmohar Campus Please note that this tournament uses a modified set of WSDC rules as outlined in the Event Invitation.

If you're new to the World School Format of Debate, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the Training Resources. 

Some key alterations of the WSDC rule set to be followed at this tournament are outlined below:

  1. Substantive speeches should be 5 minutes in duration.
  2. Only the first minute of a speech is protected.
  3. There will be no reply speeches.
  4. Preparation time is restricted to 45 minutes.
  5. The use of digital devices is permissible during preparation, however, they can not be used during the debate in any way.
  6. Only proposition teams will have access to a preparation room.

All participants must adhere to the Conference Schedule strictly.
